  • 28 pages of duplicated content that is on Better Impact (volunteer posting portal) also on Surrey.ca
  • Not clear how to volunteer
  • Long and stale content

Results

  • Deleted 28 redundant pages and replaced with a new module. New module reduces duplication of work and directly connects user to Volunteer Posting.
  • Training and documentation provided to all content owners outside of volunteering who managed a volunteer page for their section
  • Implemented new strategy to promote the “Volunteer of the Month” on social media and on eNews when appropriate (page is to be updated regularly to keep fresh, and tied to business goals)
